This reads like a children's novel, the kind that you always remember because you loved them growing up, and still find enjoyment in them in later years. Which, I suppose, was the point, so good job on that.
The quotes are perf oh my god THESE QUOTES ARE PERFECT OH MY GOD
This is great. Really, great. Everyone plays off each other really well and it's delightfully trippy. As a Wonderland story ought to be. And the illustrations are great, too.
My first impressions weren't wrong.
Awesome.
