hso2012_collabs2Summary: Aradia and Sollux’s relationship still lasted even through the obstacles that awaited them. This was for the collaboration round in the Homestuck Shipping Olympics, Prompt was aberration.

Aradia was busy digging when she heard rocks crunching from afar. There was someone there, so she got up and started to slowly walk toward the sound, when all of a sudden.
“Sup AA”
She let out a small yelp. “wh0a! were you hiding 0_0”
“uh…..” Sollux stammered. “no!”
Aradia smirked. “yeah sure”
“anyway what do you even do here?”
“search f0r treasures 0f the unkn0wn”
He glanced at the pile of useless stuff. “yep, tho2e 2ure are priicele22 trea2ure2.”
Aradia ignored the sarcasm. “why did y0u bring y0ur c0mputer?”
“you already know the an2wer to that.” He smiled “ii al2o brought 2ome 2nack2, just iin ca2e ii ran iinto 2omeone.”
Aradia laughed. “y0u already knew y0u were g0ing t0 run int0 me”.
“you don’t know that”
“0kay if y0u didn’t, lets just leave it at that” Aradia said.
“ye2.” Sollux felt relieved.
Sollux started to help Aradia by doing all the digging.
“2o aa, do you feel flu2hed for anyone iin partiicular?”
“um…that is an 0dd question, but yes. why are y0u asking?”
“ju2t a2kiing to break the 2iilence”
Aradia checked her watch. “its starting t0 get late.”
“oh, okay” Sollux got up and grabbed her arm, helping her up. “before you go ii ju2t want to a2k one more que2tiion…”
His hands are shaking, Aradia thought. “what is it?”
“uh… ii2 the per2on you are flu2hed for…..me?” He hesitated.
Aradia blushed. “h0w did y0u kn0w?!” She stammered. “d-did vriska tell y0u that?”
“no, ii wa2 a2kiing becau2e ii wa2 hopiing… that you diid feel flu2hed for me” He smiled nervously.
“Oh.” She smiled back.
“ii hope ii diidn’t make thiing2 awkward.” He laughed. “let2 go back”
Aradia and Sollux walk back to her hive, holding hands.
“Oh, and to answer your question, I have always been flushed for you” Aradia says.
Aradia checked her watch “0h sh00t, I really have t0 g0, bye!” And then she was off.
“bye! 2ee you tomorrow, maybe…!” Sollux yelled.

Sollus sat back in his hive. “that wa2n’t so ha-“ He stopped.
“what the hell?”
He started to rise off of the ground against his will and grabbed some mind honey.

AG: I've got a message for you from your 8oyfriend.
AG: He's outside your hive right now!
AA: n0t falling f0r it
Soon though, Aradia changed her mind and went outside. There was Sollux, floating in the air.
“Sollux!”
She noticed something sticky in his hands.
“Sollux?” She repeated a little more nervous and asking this time.
Her eyes widened at the mind-honey. And then with no warning, Sollux blasted psionic rays right at her.
Aradia felt her flesh burning from the rays. She couldn’t, wouldn’t believe that he would do this to her. She thought of every possible reason why he would, but by then she was brain-dead, and everything went black.

Her limp body lay motionless on the ground from where she was first standing.
Sollux fell to the ground and shook his head as if someone had takencontrol over his body. “ugh, what hap- OH 2HIIT ARADIA WHAT HAPPENED??” He ran over to her. “come on aa 2ay 2omethiing let me know you’re there!” He blinked back tears. After a full hour of her not reacting, he slumped down and gave up. Then he stood up and left her, to return too his hive.

Sollux tried to clear his mind by rolling his chair around his room.
“WEEEEEEEEEE” He said as he spun around. “THIS IS STUPID”
And then Vriska pestered him.

He waits for the files to download so he won’t forget to do it later.

Aradia sighed. "why w0nt he answer" she thought, as Equius arrived with his so called “special present.”
“D -->Uh… here” Equius said.
She stared at the robot that looked exactly like her. “this l00ks great.”
“D -->Do you have a towel” Equius asked.
Aradia ignored him. She just wanted to have a body again. She dived into the soulrobot and felt happy to be “alive” again.
Although…
“W-WHAT DID YOU DO?”

It wasn’t long until things started to fall apart.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSE TO FUCKING DO?”
“HELL IIF II KNOW HOW TO BEAT JACK!”

That was until an army robot Aradias started invading the atmosphere.
“HOLY FUCK”
“Diid iit ju2t get hotter iin here or ii2 iit becau2e an army of my mate2priit ju2t came iin?”
“WOW”
Nobody was actually paying attention to the Aradias when one of them transported all the trolls to safety in The Veil while the rest battled Jack.
Post-Hivebent-
She would still take glances at him. Everyday Aradia wondered if she and Sollux were still together, even after all that had happened.
She had a hunch that she was going to die again.
She told Sollux but he didn’t quite understand.
She went to hug him before she died, and then…
She exploded.
“holy fuck!” It hurt to see her die again, and he started to tear up.

She emerged from the light as the Maid of Time.
Meanwhile, thing weren’t going so great back in The Veil.
“LAY OFF MY GIRL”

“THERE IS NO ABSOLUTE PLACE WHERE WE CAN BE SAFE BECAUSE WE ARE ABOUT TO BE FUCKING FOUND BY JACK, YOU IGNORANT SHIT STAINS, PAY ATTENTION!”
They both ignored him andused their psychic powers to push the meteor away.
“ARE YOU INCOMPETENT DOUCHEBAGS GOING TO COME WITH US OR WHAT?” Karkat yells as the meteor drifts away.
“no i still have important work to do here” Aradia laughed, looking at Sollux.
“I DIDN’T NEED YOUR FUCKED UP LIFE STORY, HOW ABOUT YOU SOLLUX?”
“i just want to spend time with aa and chill 0ut and catch up with some 0f our dead buddies, is that 0k?” Sollux smiled.
Karkat said something else.
